It goes without saying that the challenges of our technological future, including interruptions in our communication system by hackers, cyber army, and the future of cyber terrorists. Although the Internet is the greatest communication device ever created in human history, it is also vulnerable and has inherent problems because of its conductivity. Indeed, many systems that we have created to allow a smooth flow of information, also leaves gaps and opportunities for those who abuse the system.
Perhaps the most insidious, it will all be pre-loaded with spyware, viruses, bots, and worms in our technologically advanced devices. Although most of us work very hard to ensure our data, our computer system with anti-virus and anti-spyware, we are not liable for pre-installed spyware, software and integrated systems that operate outside of normal business. It has long been thought that the army could sell advanced weapons systems to other nations with tracking devices hidden inside the unit.
It should come as no surprise that this kind of cyber Trojans will be considered and implemented by those who design and make computer components and foreign nations, and then sold in the United States. Does that mean I can not believe our smart phones, tablets, laptops and other computing devices? Yes, there is that risk, and it should be known. It does not exist, and for many years. Interestingly, the back door to the operating systems that enable their own national security agencies to look to look into electronic devices, and mobile communications in case of an individual or a terrorist group becomes a threat to our national security.
It is rather disturbing article on TechBlog on MSN titled "U.S. officials said the infected computer tech-entering the country," Alex M. Johnson, who claimed,
"Confirming years of warnings from the U.S. and private security experts, DHS officials said the computer hardware and software are imported into the United States loaded with spyware and security components of sabotage. DHS's comments came during a tense exchange nasasluĊĦanje the House oversight and reform Government Committee. board is considering the Obama administration to tighten controls on computer equipment imported for critical government and communications infrastructure ."
If this is you do not worry it probably should, if you do not understand the implications of this, you should step back and think about it for a second. Basically, the question of how safe we think we are, well, I May not be general, and it's all an illusion. Indeed, it is the hugest problem, and proves that our society and civilization is taking a dangerous area of our information and automated era.
We should all stand up and take notice, and to observe, to look behind the curtain, and understand what we do. We need back-up, better testing, and should not be so trusting. People really can not believe you know, and if they are to produce this technology, we should not be surprised at what they pull. Please consider all this.
